Celebrate a Child’s Spirit
Mettle Child, Inc., understands and believes in the eternal nature of the whole family and offers in-home respite care based on the belief that the responsibility for healing and the possibility to live together inspire us to do everything in our power to strengthen and maintain a family home. We enable individuals to comfortably remain in their natural environment, while providing families with a much needed interval of rest or relief.
A period of respite may be a few hours to a few days in length. These short-term breaks can help to relieve stress, restore energy, and promote family balance. It also enables families to share the responsibility for caregiving while getting the needed support for the whole child and family (mind, body, spirit). Thus we involve parents and legal guardians directly in the treatment by modifying how they interact with the child at home. This Christ-centered family approach provides the best opportunity for successful sustainability. Your Family Support Specialists may assist with any inquiry you have, and will determine what problems prevent family harmony and work to resolve them through coordinated family and in-home respite care services.
Mettle Child will compare your preferences to our caregivers’ qualifications, ensuring a compatible match. All caregivers undergo thorough interviewing and screening prior to employment. Furthermore, caregivers are regularly supervised and evaluated by your Family Support Specialist to ensure that Mettle Child’s high quality service standards are met.
